Mill Street Corridor - Open in Crewe

Mill Street Corridor

Mill Street Corridor

The Mill Street corridor scheme is an initiative within Crewe’s broader regeneration program, aiming to significantly improve access to Crewe Town Centre.

This scheme focuses on creating a safer and more environmentally friendly route for pedestrians and cyclists, allowing easier access to the town centre from the railway station.

Key improvements include: shared cycleways and footpaths, new street lighting and improved signage.

The proposed pedestrian and cycling route will run along Nantwich Road, Pedley Street, and Railway Street, extending through Waverley Court and Wesley Place. From these points, it will continue along Mill Street and Brook Street directly towards the Town Centre.

This regeneration is supported by funding from the Government’s Towns Fund and the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.
